As leaders move through their organizations and when they reach the top, they are challenged to broaden and develop their leadership abilities. Working at increasingly senior levels (or in new geographies, functions, etc.) often requires a new mindset, a change of perspective; or a shift in approach. It also requires letting go of some of the things that made us successful in the past. It requires a new level of leadership.
